Project Background

Ningxia Zhongwei Shengjin Silicon Industry Co., Ltd. has 6 Nos. of 33MVA ferrosilicon furnaces, which need expansion and technical upgrading.


Project Challenges

1. Substation expansion: The capacity of the original substation is not enough to support the production of 6 Nos. of 33MVA ferrosilicon furnaces, so it needs to be expanded.

2. Efficiency improvement: Its production is rough, and there is no low-voltage compensation, and no intelligent management system. It can only rely on the experience of the furnace head, so it has unstable production, low output and high energy consumption.

3. Safety promotion: Due to inexperienced operators and lax operation specifications, 2 transformers were burned due to improper operation.

4. Under the state's control of high energy consuming enterprises, they face the risk of forced production reduction.
