Project Background

Hunan Gaochuang New Energy Co., Ltd. has several wind farms in Hunan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia and other places. In 2020, the total installed capacity of the new energy reach 800,000kW. The sustomer expect to build a new energy station that is friendly to grid, safe and efficient.


Project Challenges

1. Before the collection station is completed, the fan cannot be adjusted ahead of schedule, which will affect the construction period and affect the profit of the grid connection. It is expected that the fan will be debugged and connected to the grid as soon as possible.

2. It is mainly mountain wind power, with more wind turbulence, which has a great impact on the fan and its output, and the primary frequency regulation capacity is weak.

3. It is difficult to judge the equipment fault in advance, and the maintenance after the fault affects the power generation efficiency.


Our Solution

1. On line monitoring and active evaluation system of primary frequency modulation performance: it can obtain the status of primary frequency modulation equipment and the frequency modulation ability of fan, which can meet the requirements of the grid company;

2.  Distributed energy storage and virtual synchronous machine: each fan can store energy separately, which greatly improves the peak shaving and frequency modulation capacity of each fan. It can realize smoother power generation, obtain more grid power generation indicators and increase power generation;

3.  Isolated island microgrid: complete the fan commissioning 15 days in advance, speed up the grid connection process, and have the black start function;

4.   Provide mechanical life monitoring and early warning: evaluate the health status of fan yaw system, make pre judgment and realize condition based maintenance.
