To further strengthen Nanjing Electric’s technical selection capability and quality management of insulator operating in polluted environments, the company invited Mr. Raouf, an insulator expert from Tunisia, to conduct a four-day specialized technical training and workshop from September 23 to 26, 2025. Centered on the theme “Technical Methods and Feedback for Overhead Line Insulator Selection in Polluted Environments,” the training further strengthened Nanjing Electric’s professional expertise in the insulator field through on-site guidance and in-depth exchanges with the international expert, injecting strong technical momentum into its overseas market expansion.

The training participants included key personnel from various departments such as international sales, insulator technology management, and quality control & inspection. At the opening session, Mr. Shen Qirong, Deputy General Manager of BPG and General Manager of Nanjing Electric Technology Group, extended a warm welcome to Mr. Raouf and spoke highly of his profound expertise and extensive practical experience in the insulator field. As an internationally renowned insulator technology expert, Mr. Raouf has long been dedicated to research on the performance evaluation and standardization of insulating materials in highly polluted environments, having contributed to the development and revision of multiple international standards. His technical insights are widely recognized within the industry. Leadership emphasized that this training serves not only as a platform for technical exchange but also as a significant opportunity for Nanjing Electric to benchmark international standards and enhance product competitiveness. It is hoped that through Mr. Raouf's systematic instruction and on-site guidance, participants will gain an in-depth understanding of the operational mechanisms and selection logic of insulators in complex environments, thereby laying a solid foundation for subsequent product optimization and customer service.

The training program offered systematic and comprehensive content covering core topics such as contamination analysis of insulators, operation mechanisms of natural pollution test stations, ESDD/NSDD measurement methods and pollution level assessment, as well as material properties and application technologies of RTV. The training adopted a combined approach of "theoretical instruction + on-site visits + thematic workshops" to enhance practicality and interactivity. The first day was dedicated to quality control process reviews and production line tours, allowing participants to gain an intuitive understanding of the complete manufacturing process. The following three days focused on in-depth explanations and discussions on modules including contamination mechanisms of insulators, pollution type identification, silicone material technology, and factory acceptance standards. Through four days of intensive learning and exchange, participants are expected to further enhance their professional capabilities in product selection and quality control, deepen their understanding of end-user needs and pain points, and lay a solid foundation for future technical marketing and owner qualification audits.

Looking ahead, Nanjing Electric will continue to uphold the development philosophy of “Technology-Driven, Quality-First,” increasing investment in insulator R&D and alignment with international standards. This training program has served not only as a platform for technical advancement but also as a significant step toward the company’s internationalization and professionalization. Guided by the expertise of Mr. Raouf and through the collective efforts of all participants, the company’s insulator business is poised to reach new heights. Nanjing Electric will leverage this training as an opportunity to further optimize its product portfolio, enhance market adaptability in highly polluted regions, and accelerate the expansion of its global operations. By strengthening technical team development and fostering deeper integration of industry, academia, and research, the company is committed to becoming a trusted solutions provider in the global power insulation sector, contributing Chinese expertise and strength to the safe operation of energy infrastructure worldwide.
