On November 20th, the three-day "2025 Guangzhou GBA International Rail Transit Development Forum & Exhibition" (referred to as "the exhibition") officially commenced at the Canton Fair Complex in Guangzhou. Jointly organized by Guangzhou Metro Group, the exhibition is themed "Connectivity & Shared Prosperity—Guangzhou and the World Building a Railway Future Together." Representatives including government departments, project owners, industry leaders, and experts from over 70 countries and regions gathered to explore the future of green and intelligent rail transit and to foster new possibilities for global industrial collaboration.
As a leading enterprise in China's machinery industry, a pioneer in the industrial sector, a national innovation-driven company, the sub-chain leader of Guangzhou's rail transit industry, and the vice-chairman unit of the Guangzhou Railway Transportation Industry Alliance, BPG jointly hosted and participated in this exhibition. The exhibition adopted a "1+6+N" format, featuring one main forum, six sub-forums, and multiple thematic forums, matchmaking sessions, and special events. On the afternoon of November 20, as a co-organizer of sub-forum II, "Going Global: The Guangzhou Approach to Green & Intelligent Rail Equipment Modernization," BPG delivered a keynote speech titled "DC Power Supply Empowers Green Development in Rail Transit—Research and Practice of the 750 V DC Power Distribution System." The presentation provided an in-depth analysis of how DC distribution systems, with their inherent simplicity, compatibility, eco-friendliness, and intelligence, can adapt to emerging power sources and evolving load demands within the context of new grid construction. It also highlighted the system's significant contributions to reducing infrastructure investment and improving energy efficiency in distribution networks, underscoring its profound role in advancing the green transformation of the rail transit industry.

The integrated design and implementation plan for "DC 750 V DC Power Distribution Systems in Metro Stations," along with products such as intelligent DC circuit breakers and technologies like DC parallel power supply, have been piloted at Nanpu West Station on the Guangzhou Metro Line 22 extension. These innovations have effectively simplified the distribution architecture, improved on-site reliability and safety, reduced feeder line losses, and enhanced power quality. This initiative provides a practical model for the application of DC distribution in rail transit power supply systems.
