On May 19, 2026, the most influential power, energy, and water event in Africa — Enlit Africa 2026 — grandly opened at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC).

As a globally leading supplier of insulators and HV bushings, Nanjing Electric made a prominent appearance at Hall 2, Booth C10. Leveraging innovative product technologies and deep industry expertise, Nanjing Electric captured the attention of many local African and international industry experts on the first day of the exhibition.

Stepping into the Enlit Africa exhibition, the Nanjing Electric booth was bustling with crowds and lively activity.

At this exhibition, Nanjing Electric seized the opportunities presented by South Africa's five-year framework projects and renewable energy project construction, showcasing tempered glass insulators, composite insulators, transformer bushings, and bird repellers. In addition, we also featured star products from BPG: power transformers, HVDC converter valve, prefabricated substations, HV/MV/LV switchgears, SST, BESS, and more.

Among them, addressing the pain point caused by the large number of wild birds in Africa's pristine ecological environment — where their daily activities affect the operation of line and substation equipment —Nanjing Electric showcased its new bird repeller at the exhibition, providing customers with a mature and environmentally friendly solution.

At the booth, our professional overseas team welcomed every visitor with great enthusiasm, explaining technical principles and application cases in a clear and accessible manner, earning widespread praise and high acclaim from the customers on site.
