Since the beginning of this year, BPG has been firmly grounded in the demands of its internationalization strategy, boldly confronting the global competitive landscape. With overseas performance achieving continuous breakthroughs, BPG has presented a remarkable and impressive global business card to the world with strong momentum!

Achieving Consistent Performance Breakthroughs as International Business Gains Momentum

In 2025, BPG prioritized the advancement of its international business, achieving new milestones in its exploration of overseas regional operations.

European Market

In France, Rongxin Huiko (RXHK), an affiliated company of BPG, has made significant progress in developing the magnet power supply system (MCTB power unit) for the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) project. Upon completing all in-factory design and manufacturing processes, the unit successfully passed the rigorous Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) under the supervision of the client. The test comprehensively verified the unit’s performance metrics and operational reliability, confirming its full compliance with the stringent technical requirements of the ITER project. The system was shipped to France in August.

In November of the same year, RXHK secured the contract for the ITER Phase II VS1 power supply system project. In December, it once again won a cash contract for ITER's Edge Localized Mode Power Supply System (ELM-PS). These achievements further highlight RXHK’s international competitiveness in the field of high-end power energy equipment and mark a solid step forward for Chinese enterprises in participating in the development of critical components for major global scientific projects.

In the Netherlands, the intelligent cluster project for a PEDF (PV-storage-DC-Flexibily) Charging microgrid based on energy router —serving a century-old building in Amsterdam and undertaken by WG Energy, a subsidiary of BPG—has officially been shipped. This project has achieved several "firsts in Europe": the first commercial complex application in Europe integrating PV, storage, charging, hydrogen, DC, and flexibility; Europe’s first highly complex DC microgrid cluster project; the Netherlands’ first commercial complex project with a green power DC direct-supply architecture; Europe’s first application of a third-generation DC energy storage system. Relying on core equipment such as electric energy routers and DC energy storage systems, WG Energy has provided a "zero-carbon solution from China" for the implementation of high-level DC microgrid engineering in Amsterdam.

North American Market

In the United States, the SF-150000/138 kV power transformers , developed by Baiyun Zhebian (BYZB)—an associated company of BPG—has successfully completed testing, marking the first export order to the U.S. From R&D design to passing initial product testing on the first attempt, the project achieved a significant breakthrough of "succeeding at the first endeavor." Through robust technical expertise and innovative intelligence, it has established a shining benchmark for "Chinese Intelligent Manufacturing" in the global high-end power equipment sector, demonstrating the exceptional quality and strong competitiveness of China's power equipment to the world.

Middle East Market

In the Middle East, NJ Electric, a subsidiary of BPG, has achieved a significant milestone in its collaboration with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) – the successful completion of the final batch of glass insulator supplies for the GCCIA 400 kV cross-border interconnection project. Undertaken by internationally renowned EPC contractors KPIL, KEC, and NCC, this project is a critical power interconnection initiative in the Gulf region, spanning Iraq and Kuwait, with a total supply of 600,000 PCS glass insulators. The smooth delivery of these insulators fully demonstrates NJ Electric's exceptional capabilities and product reliability in the field of high-voltage power equipment manufacturing, injecting robust "Chinese momentum" into the energy infrastructure development of the Middle East.

Southeast Asian Market

In Indonesia, the first phase of the distributed photovoltaic project (11 MW) undertaken by ZX Power, a subsidiary of BPG, for PT Pelangi Metal Indonesia has been successfully delivered. The second phase is currently under discussion with the client. As ZX Power's first overseas project, the successful delivery of the Indonesia project has provided the team with invaluable experience in international business processes, customs operations, and other critical aspects. This lays a solid foundation for future power system integration and EPC turnkey projects in the global market.

African Market

In the Republic of Malawi, BYZB, an associated company of BPG, has successfully secured the contract for the Malawi Kayelekera Uranium Mine 66kV grid connection project. In response to the client's needs, BYZB will provide a comprehensive "turnkey" solution covering design, equipment, and on-site support. This achievement marks a significant transformation for BYZB—from a single-product exporter to a full-solution provider—and stands as a major milestone in its expansion into the international market.

Deepening Regional Presence, Integrating Local Operations into the Global Market

Expanding into the international market must not stop at merely exporting products and engaging in trade—it requires a profound shift from "going global" to "embedding locally." In 2025, BPG not only accelerated the development of overseas channels by establishing marketing centers, offices, and similar institutions but also deepened its roots through the localized operation of overseas factories.

In Indonesia, sustained high economic growth and accelerated urbanization continue to drive strong demand for electricity. Combined with the country’s abundant renewable energy resources—such as wind, solar, and hydropower—the market offers substantial potential. To seize this opportunity, NJ Electric, a subsidiary of BPG, has established an overseas office in Indonesia. Together with its earlier joint venture in Malaysia, the company is now well-positioned to deepen its presence across Southeast Asia. By delivering high-quality power transmission, transformation, and distribution products and integrated solutions, NJ Electric aims to collaborate with local partners in building a safer, more efficient, and greener energy future for the region.

In Saudi Arabia, the localized manufacturing plant for the flexible DC transmission project—jointly established by RXHK, an affiliated company of BPG, and leading local Saudi enterprises—has officially commenced operations. This facility represents a core initiative by RXHK to deeply align with Saudi Arabia’s industrial localization strategy under "Vision 2030." It will directly support the Saudi flexible DC transmission project secured in July 2024, which involves the supply of four sets of ±500 kV/1.5 GW high-capacity flexible DC converter valves and auxiliary equipment. This order marks the first successful entry of China’s independently developed ±500 kV flexible DC transmission technology into the Middle East and sets a new record for the highest voltage level in overseas projects of its kind, reflecting world-leading expertise in the field. The plant not only supports Saudi Arabia’s industrial upgrading and localization goals but also serves as a high-quality model for technological exchange and production capacity collaboration between China and Saudi Arabia. Moving forward, it will serve as a foundation for partnering with regional stakeholders to explore the future of new energy interconnection.
