Amid the dual impact of the pandemic and the international situation, BPG Nanjing Electric International Company (International Company) proactively addressed challenges, expanded into overseas markets, and embraced new business opportunities. In 2023, as the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic gradually subsided and China reopened its borders, the company's international business steadily recovered, with overseas clients arriving one after another. Since the Spring Festival, the company has successively received visits from new and existing clients as well as international friends from 25 countries and regions, including South Africa, Russia, the United States, India, Pakistan, Brazil, Turkey, Greece, and Mozambique. The visiting clients and friends expressed strong interest in our company's products and services, and highly affirmed our professionalism in the power industry and the foresight of our market strategy.
While guiding international clients through the company's production lines and introducing them to our products, our staff engaged in extensive and in-depth discussions on future cooperation prospects and development directions, reaching a series of consensuses and agreements. These visits and exchanges not only strengthened the connection and deepened the rapport between the company and its clients but also provided significant opportunities and platforms for expanding our presence in the international market.
In a span of ten months in 2023, International Company secured contracts from over 30 countries and regions, including the GCC countries, Brazil, Turkey, Australia, and Canada. The product range involved glass insulator, composite insulator, HV bushing, surge arrester, fitting, spacer, circuit breaker, disconnector, and transformer. To date, the contract value has reached RMB 210 million.
In the upcoming cooperation, the International team will continue to adhere to the service philosophy of "Customer First, Quality First," consistently providing overseas clients with the highest quality products and services, and contributing the strength of Nanjing Electric to the development of global power infrastructure.
