BPG was invited to participate in the 17th China-Japan Comprehensive Forum on Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection

To promote international energy cooperation and advance the efficient utilization and sustainable development of energy, the 17th China-Japan Comprehensive Forum on Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection (referred to as “the forum”) was held in Tokyo from November 6th to 9th. The forum was jointly organized by China's National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Commerce, Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and the Japan-China Economic Association. BPG was invited to attend the event and delivered a presentation at the main forum, sharing insights and contributions to energy conservation and environmental protection.

The forum is a state-level forum approved by the State Council, which has been successfully held for 17 editions to date. At this year's forum, over 800 participants from government departments, enterprises, institutions, and associations of both China and Japan engaged in discussions and exchanges.


From November 6th to 8th, as a representative of Chinese enterprises, BPG visited Japanese companies for inspection and exchange. During the China-Japan Enterprise Matchmaking and Exchange Session, BPG actively explored cooperation opportunities with Japanese counterparts in the fields of energy conservation and environmental protection, aiming to jointly promote green and low-carbon transformation globally and regionally.

On the morning of November 9th, the forum was officially convened. The forum was addressed by notable figures including Zhao Chenxin, Vice Chairman of China's National Development and Reform Commission; Li Fei, subsecretary of the Ministry of Commerce; Wu Jianghao, Chinese Ambassador to Japan; as well as Japanese representatives such as Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, Yoichi Miyazawa; Minister of the Environment, Keiichiro Asao; and President of the Japan-China Economic Association, Kosei Shindo.

Mr. Zhou Yaowu, Vice General Manager of BPG, was invited to deliver a keynote speech titled "High-Quality Exploration and Practices in Green Electric Power Energy Under the 'Dual Carbon' Goals" at the conference. He provided a detailed introduction to BPG's developmental journey of seizing opportunities of the times and continuously transforming and upgrading. Supported by a comprehensive power equipment industry chain, he also elaborated on BPG's in-depth practices in digital transformation, power electronics technology, integrated energy management, high-end transmission and distribution equipment, and carbon-related services.

Currently, BPG and its subsidiaries offer a comprehensive range of products and services covering clean energy generation, flexible power transmission, intelligent power transformation and distribution, and smart electricity consumption. BPG has mastered key technologies in UHV AC/DC transmission and power conversion, and is actively developing green and smart energy solutions. These efforts provide robust technical support and product assurance for building a renewable energy system.
