ANTI-FALL GLASS INSULATORS
Overview
The anti-fall glass insulator is an upgraded product developed through the refinement and optimization of the production process and control parameters of tempered glass insulators, further reducing the self-breakage rate.
Building on existing glass insulator technology and drawing inspiration from automotive glass design, a protective film is applied to the surface of the tempered glass to prevent shattering. During use, if the glass component breaks, it remains entirely encapsulated by the polymer coating and separates from the metal cap without any glass fragments scattering.
This innovation fully retains the advantages of tempered glass insulators, such as zero-value self-breaking and visible detection, while eliminating the risk of scattered glass fragments causing harm to the environment and the ground.
The excellent hydrophobic properties of the polymer coating significantly enhance pollution resistance and effectively reduce the need for maintenance and cleaning, expanding the application scope of glass insulators in demanding overhead power line environments.
