Overview

STATCOM is mainly used to provide dynamic reactive power compensation and voltage support for power grids. By connecting a voltage-source converter to the grid in parallel through a reactor or transformer, the system automatically adjusts the amplitude of the converter AC-side output voltage, rapidly absorbing or generating the required reactive power to achieve fast dynamic voltage regulation and improve system stability.

STATCOM products are mainly developed for overseas markets and international customers requiring renewable energy AC grid integration solutions, with export references across Europe, the Americas, Oceania and Africa.

The company’s high-capacity HV active power filter will be applied in the Fujian-Guangdong interconnection DC project jointly carried out by State Grid and China Southern Power Grid, helping address harmonic amplification in conventional DC converter stations and ensure stable DC system operation. The SSR dynamic stabilizer serves power plant customers by suppressing sub-synchronous resonance caused by renewable energy grid integration and other factors, helping protect turbine shaft systems and improve generation safety.
