The Waveform Analysis System collects, stores, monitors, analyzes, and calculates information such as current, voltage, and switch status from each bay of the power supply system. It enables fault analysis and localization, phasor analysis, sequence component analysis, power quality analysis, and switch operation characteristics analysis. Waveforms from any bay can be retrieved, viewed, and analyzed in real time. The system adopts a distributed architecture with recording devices installed in each bay to capture waveform data. Data is transmitted via Ethernet to the local back-end or the central system of the grid. The system can retrieve and perform comparative analysis and simultaneous display of waveform records from any bay across different stations. The system also supports: fault analysis and localization across the entire network, dual-ended fault location, as well as comparative analysis and computation of AC/DC waveform data frommultiple stations and different bays.
