The HVDC Smart is the core equipment of the VSC-HVDC system. As one of the key technologies for building a new power system dominated by renewable energy, flexible DC transmission technology represents the highest global standard of power transmission technology today. The ±800kV/5000MW UHV flexible DC transmission converter valve independently developed, designed, and manufactured by ourselves has been successfully applied in the national key project of West-to-East Power Transmission (the Wudongde Hydropower Station to Guangdong and Guangxi UHV Multi-Terminal Flexible DC Transmission Demonstration Project of China Southern Power Grid). This achievement marks that our company has become one of the suppliers capable of providing products with the world’s largest capacity and highest voltage level in its category. In addition, the company has also participated in multiple national-level key flexible DC transmission projects such as Baihetan of State Grid, Rudong Offshore Wind Power in Jiangsu, Back-to-Back of Guangdong Power Grid, and Yangzhou Qingzhou Offshore Wind Power in Three Gorges. 

In 2024, the company successfully won the bid for the Saudi Arabia Central-West Flexible DC Project. This was the first time that RXHK's flexible DC products were implemented in an overseas market, marking a significant breakthrough for the company’s ability to export its independently developed high-end flexible DC transmission technology, standards, and equipment.
