Capacitive voltage transformer (CVT) series products are designed for high voltage, extra high voltage, and ultra high voltage power systems with a rated frequency of 50Hz. Connected between line and ground,  they supply voltage signals to electrical measuring instruments, meters, as well as protection and control devices, while also serving as coupling capacitors in power line carrier coupling equipment.
